Queer Berlin Tour

Berlin has long been at the heart of queer life in Europe. On this six-hour Queer History Tour, we explore that story in depth, moving from the vibrant cabarets and nightclubs of the Weimar Republic to the dark years of Nazi rule, through Cold War struggles and into the thriving queer culture of today. What sets this tour apart is the use of memoirs and first-hand accounts from Berlin’s queer writers, musicians, poets, and artists. Their voices guide us through the streets, turning history into something personal and immediate. Past and present meet here: memorials and historic sites stand side by side with living neighbourhoods, bars, and cultural spaces that continue to shape Berlin as one of the world’s great queer capitals.
