Your Guide in Berlin

Hi, I'm Scott – a Glasgow-born guide based in Berlin.

Since 2018, I’ve been guiding people through Berlin’s streets, helping them make sense of its past and present.

Over the years, I’ve worked with leading tour agencies, developed custom educational programmes for universities and schools, and become a certified guide at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial. I’ve also published books and made documentary films exploring monuments, archives, and historical memory.

Whether I’m guiding a family through Berlin’s streets or leading a university group through pivotal sites of 20th-century history, my goal is always the same: to make the past feel real, relevant, and human. I pay attention to the details—the small plaques, forgotten corners, or street names that often go unnoticed—because it’s in those details that Berlin’s true stories come alive.
